Welcome to Knypersley Cricket Club

Welcome to the Knypersley Cricket Club website.

Founded in 1880, the Club forms one of the Sections of the Victoria Colliery & Knypersley Welfare Trust www.knypersleyclub.co.uk - a registered Charity.

We have four Senior Teams, with two each playing in the North Staffordshire & South Cheshire Premier Cricket League - www.nsscl.co.uk - being Founder Members in 1962, and also the Stone & District Cricket League - www.stonedistrictcl.play-cricket.com - from the year 1999, when the Club merged with the former Biddulph Cricket Club, which proved of mutual benefit to each.

Having also been Founder Members of the Kidsgrove & District Junior Cricket League in 1947, the Club expanded its Junior Teams with their entry to the South Moorlands Junior Cricket League - www.smjcl.play-cricket.com - in 1988, and now operate a minimum of one Under 9 and Under-11, two Under-13, two Under-15's, one Under-17 Team and a Girls Team in Junior Cricket.

The Club has also actively supported the work of the Staffordshire Moorlands Cricket Development Group - www.smcdg.play-cricket.com - since its formation in 1998.
